SOCIAL NETWORKING guys

Why is everyone behind Mr.Tharoor? Why Mr.Shashi is such a tweet chap? Now thatzzz the matter of major paradox facing India and it’s a moot question. Here comes my kinda comprehension about what is wrong with our dear politicians. Social networking sites are to b social right! Then what wrong did Tharoor do, by tweeting about the new visa-tightening rules for foreigners and saying that was not a good idea. I strongly support the opinion. Tharoor has used the technology to express his opinion and there is no harm in that. However, Tharoor’s boss, S M Krishna, got frustrated n said these things should not b discussed in public. But I ask “WHY"? When India is a democratic country n supports freedom of speech ,what is wrong in expressing views about this issue, I mean what do they expect from a personality like shashi Tharoor then , we don’t expect him to tweet about sex, girls or dating tips !!!.Moreover if tweeting and social networking sites are actually threat to national security, if am not wrong 26/11 terrorist did not need a visa/passport to come n dance in India. Talking about the “cattle class” remark on economic class of India. We Indians worship the cattle n then we get frustrated when sm1 calls us cattle class.!!(Politicians are funny). It was a silly expression for the airlines for herding people like cattle n obviously meant no disrespect to the economy class. I mean something is really wrong with our politicians. When I hear such things, I had to give it a expression 'WTF”'!!!!Youngsters look up to personality like him, who believes that a free society is all about agreeing to disagree And sometimes disagreeing to agree.Give him a break,I would have definitely twittered about this issue in twitter, but thanks to content keeper(SCMS) who don’t understand the importance of networking sites, n have wilfully blocked some of the  good sites like LinkedIn ,Twitter n all. We r future managers right (as per our faculties), then r v not supposed to b social! I say..
“What the hell is wrong with socializing in social networking sites?”
GUYS C U SOON IN TWITTER AFTER CONVOCATION. ;)

Till then "peace man peace" \/

  1. Jyoti, the best way to avoid an issue is to create a big hype over the least important points as in the case of the 'cattle class' controversy, anyone with a proper know how of the language can know the comment of 'holy cows' was not meant in a religious way...........rather i would say we need to look at the 'high aspirations' of our political class. The issue is that the political class; once elected forget they are still a part of the 'economy class'. Remember the controversy from the side of the judiciary when the chief justices were asked to disclose their assets? Freedom of speech is a prized possession and not one to be flung around so lightly as Mr. Tharoor has done. We appreciate freedom all the more as we have so little of it here ;-)

  2. thers nthing wrong in using social networking n going public...each n evry individual has the right 2 xpress themselves...but the way Mr.Tharoor used it in the visa issue, was nt appropriate...It was a decision taken by his own ministry...n if ther was any issues, shud hav been dealt with internally...b4 announcing the policies...nw, its a question abt the integrity of the entire ministry of extenal affairs as a whole...if used correctly...its a powerful weapon...if nt...can cause disasters...
